Our Girls

We currently train, hunt, and compete with two girls, Sassy and Fergie. They are good upland hunters, with good bird/retrieving drive, intelligence, and style.

Porjay's Black Eyed Pea, JH

Fergie has a great water attitude and loves to work. She is a quick learner, athletic and intelligent. Fergie easily received her Junior Hunter title in 4 out of 4 Hunt Tests, and is currently running blinds and has two legs of her SH title so far. Fergie is steady on the line, and honest through water and cover during both training and Tests. She handles pressure well, and will do anything to get her bird, a true retriever.

Fergie is a good upland hunter, able to trail running pheasants and work heavy cover. She has also shown her ability to mark in hunting situations, not just in training.

Fergie is also an excellent house dog, calm and relaxed in the house. She is very sweet and loves to cuddle or play with toys. She has a wavy, dark red coat with lighter feathering that sheds water well and is very low maintenance.

Ever Ready's Phat N Sassy, JH

Sassy is sweet, sensible, and wants to please. Sassy has competed in Candian Field Trials, and earned both a Judge's Award of Merit, and a Reserved Judge's Award of Merit in the Qualifying level. She earned her Junior Hunter title with style in 4 for 4 passes. Sassy is calm and quiet on the line for training, tests, and hunting.

Sassy is a good waterfowl dog, and is also a good upland hunter. She is fearless in heavy cover and has a great "golden" nose! Sassy is a talented marker in all conditions, and loves to hunt.

Sassy is sweet and loves to cuddle. She is a happy girl, always looking for the little joys in life like a good roll in the grass or a swim on a hot day.
