Sportin' Nitty Gritty "Ruff" was the top Derby Golden of 2007, with 37 Derby points in 2007 alone. He is now Qualified All Age with a Qualifying Win. Ruff is currently competing in AKC Master Hunt Tests. I had the opportunity to watch Ruff run at the Missoula Summer HTs this year, and he is amazing to watch.

Sassy is sweet, responsive, and wants to please. Sassy has competed in Candian Field Trials, and earned both a Judge's Award of Merit, and a Reserved Judge's Award of Merit in the Qualifying level. She earned her Junior Hunter title with style in 4 for 4 passes.

Finn is a versatile dog, competing in conformation, hunt tests, tracking, obedience, and other venues. I had the opportunity to meet him this spring, and he is not only handsome and sweet, he is also a talented retriever. He loves the water, and will retrieve a bumper from land or water all day long. Fergie went 4 for 4 to become an AKC Junior Hunter, and she is an extremley talented retriever. She has an explosive water entry, isn't afraid of heavy cover, and has a great nose. She handles pressure well, and will do anything to get her bird, a true retriever. Fergie is a good upland hunter, able to trail running pheasants and work heavy cover.
